They don't perform. They synchronize.

New Babbage, microTech // DnB / Neurofunk / Techno

Juno and Vex Ardin are brothers from New Babbage.

Both work in IT maintenance among server racks, cooling systems, terminals, and technical corridors. Music began as another system to explore in their spare time, not as a profession or public ambition.

The Story

SubLight Shift existed privately before it ever had an audience.

Juno and Vex shared anonymous tracks and telemetry-like files on Spectrum and occasionally played masked sets at Wally’s Bar. The masks were never about manufactured mystery. They simply preferred privacy.

The brothers approach sound differently.

Juno is structure, precision, and control.

Vex is rhythm, modulation, and instinct.

Nok Varen noticed recurring signatures in their anonymous work before he knew who was behind it, eventually finding them during a maintenance job at Omega Pro.

At Levski, something changed.

Burning Thrust had already taken shape through months of private experimentation. Kovah Redd’s voice gave it the final element it had been missing.

For the first time, Juno and Vex let someone else fully into the creative space they had built together.

The masks stayed.

They simply felt a little less necessary.
